I was born in San Diego California, and grew up in the Salt Lake area of Utah. I graduated from Granger High School, and was part of the National Honor's Society

I got involved with photography when I was 19, when I applied for a job as a receptionist for a photography studio. It turned out that they needed photographers to go take school pictures, so I agreed to help out, and immediately fell in love with photography. One photography job led to another, and now I currently work as a wedding and portrait photographer. I also work part time at MasterLab, which is a professional photo lab. I feel lucky to be able to do something that I love so much.

I am also a mother of two darling boys, who are my favorite subjects to photograph. I enjoy reading, dancing, hiking and recently attempted mountain biking with my husband, who is the champion mountain biker!
